"Brygan Cremation & Burial of Los Gatos is family owned and operated by Andrea and Jim Habing. They have provided cremation and burial services for approximately 30 years. I am a Los Gatos attorney and have worked many times with the Habings and the the ​families to whom they provide services. I have had much opportunity to observe the Habings interact with and provide service to their families. Andrea and Jim work closely and diligently to provide the right atmosphere at this time of loss. I have observed both of them to be extremely empathetic. The Habings are friendly hard working people who provide affordable service at Byrgan Cremation and Burial. They are almost always available to talk to families that they assist. They also interact with various churches to make sure that the services are done to the satisfaction of their families."

"My Dad recently passed away. My sister called Byrgan on a Sunday afternoon. They came to the hospital in two hours to pick him up. A RN was very surprised that they were so fast.

We had to deal with the 4th of July weekend, so it took a little longer to get his death certificates. Andrea Wood Habing personally delivered his urn and death certs.

Mom decided to purchase another prepaid cremation plan.

"My husband recently passed away and I met with Andrea to make final arrangements. She was very compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable and listened to what the family wanted.
I inquired about burial at Arlington National Cemetery. She immediately called her husband Jim to see what the requirements were. They followed up on every time consuming detail and went out of their way and helped with the paperwork. Jim even marked pages in the catalog so that I would select the correct size urn for the niche. Andrea suggested a different size font to be inscribed on the urn than what I had selected. I took her suggestion and the final results were awesome!

"During such a difficult time, Byrgan exceeded all our expectations. I never write reviews, but after one of the most important events of my families' life, I felt like I had to share our experience. They picked our loved one up at the requested time and personally answered all phone calls (no answering service). Not only were they able to accommodate special requirements such as the casket rental for the formal Catholic funeral service followed by cremation, they helped with our special music request during our families' private visitation with our loved one. They did everything with such care and reassurance that we never felt lost. They even came through after a late night request for easels which we needed for the funeral service the next morning. We never felt pushed or even asked to purchase anything extra. We have no doubts that Byrgan is part of our family, and will definitely use their services going forward."

Very friendly, caring and thorough service. They were extremely patient as I was a mess and quite lost after my father's death. But they helped me through it all, assisted with every aspect: the death certificates, prayer cards for the Catholic service, paying for services others would render so we wouldn't have the burden of dealing with so many, and of course the memorial/funeral mass and burial, they handled with grace and dignity. Andrea Habing was wonderful throughout, and I am extremely grateful for her. Their prices seemed very reasonable, and they never in any way tried to push sales or hard sell with me. They did quite the opposite, letting me know when certain things weren't necessary for me to purchase. I was quite impressed and, again, very thankful.

Byrgan are a really wonderful family-owned business. I was super impressed by the quality of my conversations with Andrea and Angel and we setup a pre-planned package quickly and effortlessly.
